The report is an overview of the Seminar on Indian Education conducted by the Committee on Human Development at the University of Chicago, March 3-13 [1943]. McNickle lauds the field workers for their dedication despite constraints of time, language, and war-time shortages. He describes the examination of the data, from the tests individually and in their relationships as a whole. The end of the seminar discussed a tentative administrative application of the findings. Publications of the findings and recommendations as well as a book for the general public will be forthcoming.
