Handwritten notes on unlined paper titled "Choices," a tale from Barbados. Two people, going to heaven, are given a choice of items to carry: a bale of cotton or a bag of salt. One, being greedy, chooses the more valuable cotton. Then it begins to rain, and the cotton becomes very heavy, keeping its owner from moving. The bag of salt melts away, and its owner goes straight up to heaven.
