In this story, Naiyenesgani conquers a monster, who lives in a "sinking place" and sucks in Taos people. Naiyenesgani dries up the water by means of hoops. A ladder is sticking up from the water; Naiyenesgani bribes the crane guard and goes in. He fills the house with smoke from his fire drill and releases the captive people. Undated.
